Created by ex-LA Weekly staffers, The LAnd magazine was founded with the core mission of providing authentic, independent journalism covering the communities of Los Angeles.

To celebrate the magazine's inaugural publication, we were tasked with documenting the issue's release party featuring performances from local artists including Open Mike Eagle, Baths, Nocando, Los Retros, and Amde Hamilton (of The Watts Prophets).

How the Brutal L.A. Weekly Takeover Produced The LAnd

FACTORY wield the best possible combination of attributes; they're immensely gifted camera operators, editors, and directors, and they're blessed with inquisitive minds and deep curiosity.
